Prepare your submission

• A coherent selection of your own work, or work you are authorised to submit.
• An editorial title and a short explanation of the idea, if useful.
• Correct contributor names, roles, social handles and applicable wardrobe credits.
• Files that meet the selected Kavyar call’s format, resolution and image-count requirements.
• The permissions and releases required by that call.

Do not stretch smaller files to create the appearance of detail. Read the current call before exporting or uploading a final selection.

Submission options and paid upgrades

Read each option’s price, included services, review timing and refund conditions before choosing it. Where a standard free option is available, you can select it for editorial consideration. Optional paid services may have different deliverables and schedules.

If you receive an upgrade offer after acceptance, compare its included services with your original acceptance. Choose it only if those additional deliverables are useful to you. An offer is not a promise of audience growth, employment or future commissions.

Deadlines, decisions and publication

ARTNOIR publishes on a rolling schedule. The current Kavyar call and your accepted submission thread provide the timing applicable to your work. Do not rely on a previous issue’s deadline or assume that a preferred release date has been reserved.

Submission FAQ

Is ARTNOIR exclusively black-and-white?

No. Black-and-white and monochrome lead our identity. Atmospheric, dark-toned and muted-colour photography is also considered when it fits.

Can a model or stylist submit?

Check who is eligible in the selected call and obtain the required copyright-holder and team permissions before submitting.

Can I email my photographs instead?

Please use the ARTNOIR Kavyar submission flow so the work, credits, selected option and editorial communication stay together.

Will every team member receive a credit?

Provide complete, accurate credits with your submission and check them before publication. Ask your team to verify their own information when prompted.
